Our committee is made up of volunteers, who are usually parents and carers of children attending the preschool. The committee consists of a minimum of 5 members and a maximum of 12. The officer of the committee (chairperson, Treasurer, Secretary) are elected at the Annual General Meeting usually held in September/October. All parents are asked to attend as it is essential to have their input. Preschool would not be able to run without a committee. Preschool always welcomes new members to join.

Hello, I’m Sandra. I am your Committee Secretary.
I live in Welbourn with my husband Richard, and our dog Roo. We moved to the village 24 years ago from Suffolk. Our son who was then five at the time attended Welbourn Primary School. My original background is in Secretarial/PA work, and I am also CACHE Level 3 qualified in Children and Young People.
I love being part of our village community, and we are very lucky to have Wonderbugs preschool as part of it too. I enjoy gardening and going for walks in the countryside. I am really looking forward to being part of the preschool committee, and I’m sure my secretarial skills will come in very handy in my new role.
